POLKA FOR TWO

"Egerländer style" for flugelhorn & tenorhorn-players
with Alexander Wurz & Christoph Moschberger

They are the musical dream couple in Bohemian wind music and largely responsible for the melody in the orchestra: tenor horn and flugelhorn. With Alexander Wurz and Christoph Moschberger, two of the best-known representatives of these two instrument groups come together for a joint workshop. Using pieces from the repertoire of the “Egerländer Musikanten”, they deal with the important topics, such as exact rhythmic interplay, perfect tonal fusion of high and low brass or the joint creation of a musical idea.

As musicians with "Ernst Hutter and the Egerländer Musikanten - das Original" they regularly prove that Wurz and Moschberger have mastered these disciplines with flying colors. Just like in their completely reduced duet versions of "Nepomuk" or "Borsicka" -Polka - clicked hundreds of thousands of times online. You can look closely at the fingers of the two experts. Just like in the "Polka for Two" workshop!
The workshop is a full-day course and is aimed at flugelhorn players / trumpeters and tenor horn or baritone players from an intermediate level.
